Ravana goes to MAAREECHA SEcond time

Ravana wound up the assembly.He told the ministers to leave him alone.He told Sootha to make his chariot ready.That chariot moves according to the wish of him.Ravana travelled in air.He crossed abodes pof sages,lotus ponds,banana gardens,clusters of trees with fruits and flowers along the seafront.On his way he came across a big banyan tree.
It was a very big tree with a vast circumference of more than hundred yojanas.Earlire.Garuthmantha used to bring his kills there and eat them on the branches of that tree.With the overweighing  caused due to the weight of elephants and other dead bodies,one of its branches broke down.Many sages,vaikhaanasa and vaalakhilyulu ,were staying under its branches.Garuthmantha did not want them to suffer.So he took the branch and its prey and ate it.Then he killed other demons there.He protected the sages.Then he went to swarga and brought amrutha from INDRA BHAVANA.That tree is named Subhadramu.Ravana saw that tree on his way.
Like this he crossed the sea and reached Maareechas abode.At that time Maareecha was leading the life of a sage.Maareecha welcomed Ravana and enquired his reason for coming to him.

Then Ravana explained to him in an imploring way that A mere mortal has killed many demons in the area which is the strong hold of demons.Rama killed fourteen thousand demons single handedly.Khara,Dooshana,Thrisirudu and many others were killed.Actually Rama had been exiled by his father.Rama is vicious natured,Lustful person.He is not rightful.He is intent on harming the people.

Without any reason or rhyme,Rama has cut off the nose and ears of Soorpanakha.
Here we observe that his aura has left him,once he came to plead Maareechas help.Another aspect is that we find Ravana trying to apply his traits and weakness to Rama by describing as above.

Soorpanakha instigating Raavana

Soorpanakha started to praise Raama and his greatness.She knew pretty well that if she starts praising his enemy ,Raavana would be instigated to forge a war against him and kill Raama.
She was saying thus.Raama was bewitching in his looks.He was wearing saints dress.His bow is so effective that we feel like seeing Indras bow and arrows.The way he is using the bow and arrows is immaculate and so fast that she is unable to do justice to his talent while explaining.He killed so many demons in such a short time.Not even a single demon could survive his onslaught.He had principle that women should not be killed,so he left Soorpanakha.

Raama had a brother called Lakshmana.He loved his Brother ,Rama very much.He was good charactered and strong man.He was like aright shoulder to his brother.He was like another Rama in simple.

Rama had a wife .Her name is Seetha.She is a beautiful lady.We can never see such a beauty either on this earth or in any planet.She is glowing like another Forest beauty or Lakshmi.

It is a boon to him who marries her.He is lucky and greater than Indra if one can get her embrace in sheer happiness.Seetha is ideal for you.You are apt to be her husband.In fact,she tried to bring Seetha to Raavanana.But in that act only,she got humiliated and her plight had become pathetic.Lakshmana cut off her nose and ears .If ever Ravana sees Seetha he would be moonstruck with love for her.If ever ,you want her to be your wife,you start immediately without delay.

You kill Rama ,WHO HAD KILLED OUR MEN.The dead would be happy for the revenge you have taken on their behalf.You kill Lakshmana also who mage me ugly and grotesque by cutting of my ears and nose.Then Seetha would be all yours for you to enjoy.

Soorpanakha told Raavana to use his valour and get Seetha.She never told him to steal her.She was humiliated in the hands of Rama and Lakshmana.So she wanted them to be killed.Ravana was afraid of Ramas valour.So,when he asked Akampanas advise.he gave this way out.

Soorpanakha meets Ravana

After Kharas assasination,Soorpanakha went to Lanka.Ravana was in full swing.He was enjoying and fully fledged with royal pleasures.Ravan did never care for devathas.Once ,he went to Bhogavathi,a cityand defeated Vasuki .He brought Thakshakas wjfe.Another time,he  went to Kaailash and defeated Kubera and brought his pushapaka viamnam.He even destroyed Kuberas chaithraradhavanam,pushkarini,Indras nandanavanam.He was very ferocious.He had strength to stop even Sun and Moon from taking their natural paths.He would spoil yagnas and yagas.He was an enemy of sages.He did thapa and prayed Brahma by cutting his own heads and keeping them before Brahma.There were marks of Vajrayudham and Iravathams tusks on his chest.He had halo around him.He sat in his golden throne.His ministers were attending on him.

Soorpanakha started to talk to her brother in a fearless manner.She was belittling him.She was not happy with his behaviour.He was fully drowned in lustful pleasures.He was unable to realise the danger he was in.hE WAS AS GOOD AS BURIAL GROUND.No one would respect such a king.A king who is not alert is bound to lose kingdom in no time.He was gloomy like a mountain immersed in a sea.He was inconsistent.It seemed he did not have any agents to tell him about things that happen around  him and in his country.He was a fool.Actually kings would be so alert that he has verything in order.He would know what is happening in distant countries aroung his kingdom also.But Ravana was unable to find out what was happening in his country itself.It seems his ministers were also waste fellows.

If he did not already know,she would tell her brother now.Rama killed Khara,dooshana and fourteen thousand demons single handedly.He protected sages in Dandakaaranya by killing all the demons there.While Ravana was indulging himself in lust At Lanka.If a king was ruthless,dull,arrogant,then in times of danger ,his own people would leave him or kill him.

King should be alert and see that every thing was in order.Otherwise he was sure to lose his kingdom.Anything like dry wood,soil  or meaningless things would even have such importance at one time or another,but a king who is deprived of his kingdom does not value even a dime.
It seems that Ravana did not have a single trait of a succesfull king.So it was sure that in no time he is sure to lose his kingdom.
Ravana heard Soorpanakhas words.hE LOST HIS TEMPER.hE STARTED ASKING HER QUESTIONS.Who was Rama?What were his main traits?Why did he come to Dandakaaranya?Did he really kill Khara and Dooshana?

Ravana goes to Maareechas abode

Next day morning started on his chariot.On the way he came to Maareechas abode.He got down from the chariot and went to Maareecha saashram.Maareecha recieved him  and looked after him satisfactorily.Then he enquired the reason why he had come to him in such a haste.He doublted if there was any problem.

Then Ravana started telling about Rama.There is some one named Rama here who killed Many demons in Ravanas  territory.In reply to his actions,Ravana wants to kidnap his wife.He came to Seek Maareechas help in kidnapping her.

Maareecha chided him for this type of thinking.He wanted to know the person who had side tracked Ravana in thinking like this.He was true enemy of Rama.He had planned to eliminate Ravana completely.Otherwise he would not suggest this type of action.It was as if we keep our hands in snakes mouth to remove its fangs.We can benefit nothing by promoting rivalry with Rama.He is trying to bring bad by himself in conjuring up such acts.

Maareecha advised Ravana to go back to Lanka and live happily with his wives.Rama will also be happy in the woods along with his wife.Ravana paid a good ear to Maareechas advise and left for Lanka.

Akampanudu

Akampanudu was Ravanas aide.He saw Rama kill all the demons single handedly.He ran back to Lanka to relate this incident to Ravana.Ravana became aggressive hearing about this massacre.He questioned who he was.Even Indra.Kubera,Yama,Vishnu or any other person can not survive peacefully after causing damage to his people or ego.
He was like Yama to yama himself.He  was like fire to fire itself.Who was this person who caused damage to his place and people and he was ready to face his death.
Akampanudu was shivering with fear and Tole again that Rama killed all Ravanas demons.Ravana questione dIf that Rama brought Indra and dieties to help him in this battle.Akampana replied that Rama completed this deed single handedly.His arrows were like five haeded snakes which killed Ravana smen.HiS Brother .Lakshmana came to Ramas aide.
Ravana was immediate in his reaction.He was ready to go to them and kill the brothers.
Akampanudu started to tell the reality and warn Ravana accordingly.It was simply impossible to win over Rama.He saw it with his own naked eyes.When Rama starts using his bow and arrows in anger,all the water bodies would dry up in a second.He was capable of dumping The earth into the seas.He could break the sky.He could again bring back the earth again from seas.Ravana can not equal Rama in his valor or capacity.

But there was a way out to out cross him.Rama has a beautiful wife,Seetha.She is always beside him.She is so beautiful that not even Gandharva or apsarasas can not come near her.So.you kidnap her.Rama can not live without Seetha.How true!It is so simple and neat.You need not kill him directly.There is no other way than this to put an end to Rama.

rAVANA was happy  with Akampana s words.He was ready to go and kidnap Seetha next day.

End of khara

Rama replied Khara with smile on his face.Did he he see the fate of his gada in the hands of Rama?He would definitely kill Khara and Clear the dandakaaranya forest from atrocities of Khara in future.Rishis can live happily here after.
Khara was not silent.He too replied in the same note.He addressed Rama and told him that he was talking in meaningless manner as his death was nearing him.He lost the difference between right and wrong.Saying so Khara lifted Sala tree from the ground and threw it on Rama.Rama cut off the tree and released many powerful arrows directed towards Khara.Khara was hit malestorm of arrows and blood was oozing from his body.Khara lounged on to Rama.Rama took a step backwards and used the Arrow given to him By Agasthya maha muni.Khara died died a pathetic death.Rajarshis and maharshis expressed their relief to Rama on the death of demon,Khara.Rishis praised Rama that Indra had come to Sarabhangaasram to fulfil this act only.NoW AS it is accomplished by Rama all the sages could live peacefully.

Devathas also showed theri happyness by raining flowers on Rama.aCCORDING TO THEM rAMA EQUALLED sREE MAHAA VISHNU IN hIS VALOUR.Putting end to fourteen thousand demons,Khara and Dooshana in a very short time was a miracle.Every one praised Rama appropriately andwent to their abodes.

Lakshmana brought Seetha from the cave and took her to their cottage.Lakshmana expressed his love ,affection and gratitude to Rama and prayed him.Seetha hugged Rama with love and affection .She was happy that he killed the cruel demons successfully and without much strain.She was hugging him repeatedly because she wanted to shower all her love towards her husband as he came out successfully from battle without any adverse effects.

war with Khara

Khara was afraid thinking of Ramas valour.But he was hoping against hope that Rama might have been exhausted ahter killing so many demons.Khara started fight with Rama.Khara was not an ordinary Demon.He broke Ramas bow in the centre and showed his mastery.Khara used seven arrows to break Ramas armour into pieces.He pierced Arrows into Ramas body.Rama was angry and he took the bow given to him by Agasthya mahaamuni and broke Kharas flag.Khara rained arrows on to Rama.Ramas body was filled all over with blood.He became ferocious and directed six arrows towards Khara.Fierce fighting was going on imn between Rama and Khara.Kharas bow broke down.Horses of Kharas chariot got killed by Ramas arrows.Kharas chariot driver was also killed.Khara lost his chariot and got down.Rishis,dieties were happy over Ramas achievement .They prayed Rama.Khara started Gadaa yuddham.Rama then addressed Khara like this.Khara was atrocious and was attacking many good people and sages.No one would spare him for his grotesque acts of crime.People would kill him as if they would terminate a vicious snake.Khara killed so many rishis and sages who were doing penance in Dandakaaranya forest without any reason or rhyme.Riches of bad people are only temporary.They are never permanent.If a root is affected ,how long can a tree sustain with life.It will automatically dry up one day or another.

Everyone has to reap the fruits of his doing whether good or bad.Rama came there as per Kings right to eliminate and assassinate bad and cruel people.He would kill Khara then itself.Sages who got killed by him earlier were seeing this from Aeroplanes in sky.They would be happy seeing him get killed by Rama.

Khara was not silent hearing Rama talk thus.He too replied Rama in a punching manner.Rama was feeling great and boasting about him self just after killing few ,low profile demons.It was not a very big issue to boast about.No real would speak this way.He would kill him with his gada.He too wanted say so many things.But it was already nearing sun set.So he does not want to waste much time in talking.Rama had killed so many demons of his side.He wou;ld kill Rama and make them happy.

Saying so he directed his Gada onto Rama.Rama broke it with his arrows.

War with thrisurudu

Khara started to go for the war against Rama.But his army chief,Thrisirudu stooped him.He pleaded that he be sent to foght Rama.When the army chief was there,there was no need for Khara to actually neter the batle field.He would put an end to Rama and clear the minds of demons and their anguish .He would surely kill Rama.Other wise,he would be killed by Rama.He was requesting Khara to stop the war and observe the fight between Rama and Thrisirudu.Khara gave him permission to go and fight Rama.Rama and Thrisirudu fought like hell.It created uproar.Thrisirudu attacked Rama with three arrows directed to his forehead.
Rama made fun of him saying that they were as if he was touched by flowers.Saying so he released arrows directed towards Thrisirudu telling him to taste his arrows.Rama cut off all the three heads of Thrisirudu.

Raakshasa samhaaram

Hearing Soorpanakhas wailing,Khara sent fourteen of his warriors to fight Rama.Soorpanakha went along with them and showed them.Sreerama also saw them.He told Lakshmana to protect Seetha while he fought the demons.He told the demons that they were sages.They were living there eating fruits and tubers.He requested them not to trouble them as they were righteous persons.He was awaiting there toassassinate the demons who  troubled Sages.If they were interested in their lives,they should immediately leave that place.

The demons came to attack Rama.They said the person who brought anger to Khara should not live in this world.He was alone while they were many.So they are sure to kill him.They used spears to attack Rama but he retaliated them with his archery.All of the were killed by Ramas arrows.Soorpanakha went to Khara weeping.Khara admonished her for her weeping.He did not know why she was still weeping,in spite of his sending His aides to kill Rama.

She replied that all were killed by Rama.If he was really valiant,he should kill Rama.Rama was a thorn for demons in Dandakaaranya region.If he did not kill Rama,She would commit suicide before her brother.It seems he was not really a warrior,he was simply boasting of his capabilities.If he were not so strong,he should really leave that place along with his men.Otherwise ,he was sure to be killed by Rama.Rama and Lakshmana were really super heroes.Khara was not their equal.

Khara was piqued by her rash remarks.He said he would immediately kill Rama and drink his blood.Soorpanakha was happy to hear her brothers words.She started to boost his morale by praising him.that he was the best.

Khara called his army chief,Dooshana and told hi to make ready for the war against Rama .They had fourteen thousand soldiers.Chariot was also made ready.Dooshana made all the war preparations.Khara alghted his chariot and started.His cavalry walked before him.He had all the bad omens.Blood rained.HORSES OF HIS CHARIOT FELL DOWN WITHOUT reason.Eagle sat on the flag of the chariot.Jackals hooted.Sky became dull.Suddenly it became dark.Wild animals and birds came abreast his army.His left shoulder shuddered with impending bad incidents.Tears rolled down his eyes without reason or rhyme.

But Khara did not flinch by these omens.He uplifted the morale of his army that only weaklings get afraid not  the strong persons.He would not turn back until he kills Rama and Lakshmana.He did not even know the meaning of the word,LOSE.iF HE GETS ANGRY,HE could even kill Indra.Then what would be the plight of mere mortals like Rama and Lakshmana?All the demons were eager to start the war after hearing Kharas words.They all started for the war.

Rama also saw some forecasting at that time.He is addressing Lakshamana to observe those extremities.All of them were indicating assassination of demons.All his arrows were combustible indicating war.It seems war is inevitable.His right shoulder is shuddering,which is good sign.Lakshmanas face is glowing  and composed showing calmness.It proves that they are sure to win.They could hear the demons coming noisily.Intelligent person would never wait for the calamity to come,he would always take measures to avoid it before hand.So,he directed Lakshmana to take Seetha into the cave.He was asked to protect her at the mouth of the cave with bow and arrows.Actually Lakshmana himself was enough to kill all these demons.There was no doubt about it.But this time,Rama wants to eliminate all those demons.

As per his brothers instructions,Lakshmana took Seetha in to the cave and stood before it with his bow and arrows.Sree Rama covered his body with shield and was ready to face them.All the rishis and dieties were eagerly awaiting to see how Rama would kill those demons.Rama was shining with inner power and strength.He was angry.
KRUDDHUDAINA RUDRUNI CHANDAMUNA BHAYANKARUDAI VUNNAADU.

IT MEANS he was like Siva while in anger and every one was afraind to look at him.He was so ferocious AT THAT TIME.
Demons came ready to fight.All the wild animals ran into the forest with fear.Sree rama saw all the four sides to assess the enemies strength and weakness. He was wearing his bow and arrows and was ready to fight.Khara came and attacked Rama with thousand arrows.Other demons also attacked with their weapons.It was as if arrows were raining on Rama.But all the arrows and weapons got demolished by Ramas archery.It was as if all the rivulets end their existence and individuality once they join sea.Ramas body was covered with blood oozing from the wound.He looked like sun which was covered by clouds at the time of dusk.Rama got angry and he turned his bow in a semicircular fashion and released arrows in thousands on the demons.All the demons died.Their horses and elephants also perished.He was killing demons like the fire of the forest which can not be curbed easily.Demons were falling down in heaps in a way trees fall by the speed of Garuthmantha.Those few remaining came to Khara for rescue.Dooshana cajoled them and again sent them to fight.Severe war had taken place between the demons and Rama,.Rama was so efficient in using and releasing the arrows fron his bow that only the demons falling down could be seen .No one could see how Rama was operating his arms.Entire sky was filled with arrows and it was all dark .Earth was filled by dead bodies of demons all over.Dooshana again sent five thousand of his warriors onto Rama for attacking him.All of them rained arrows on Rama but he was not affected by these things.He was angry and retaliated more forcefully.He was like powerful ox which does not care a hoot  even if heavy rain falls on it.

Dooshana hims elf attacked Rama..Rama broke his bow and killed the horses of his chariot.He killed his aide also.Dooshana attacked with an iron ball,and Rama cut off his hands.Khara died in a very pathetic fashion.All the five thousand warriors of Dooshana were killed by five thousand arrows from Rama.

Seeing this,Khara sent twelve of his efficient warriors and army perssonnel who also met their end in the hands of Rama.Like fourteen thousand demons were killed single handedly by Rama from ground.Only Khara and Thrisirudu were left behind.All others died .

Soorpanakha goes to Khara

Soorpanakha ran away crying to her brother,Khara.She told him what has happened.Khara was very angry.He questioned her who was responsible for all this.It was as if he had triggered Krishnasarpam for the sake of thrill.It means he was unaware of the end effect of behaving so rashly towards his sister.They were all behind her.It was as if he wanted to go to hell in no time.Even Indra was afraid to face him in war.He would immediately kill the man who brought sorrow toher.Not even deva ,daanava gandharvas can help him.She had to just tell him who the person was. Soorpanakha replied him crying all the time.There were two people by namesRama and Lakshmana,.They were very beautiful.They were ferocious.She could not assess whether they were men or dieties.One lady was also with them wearing heavy ornaments all over her body.She was the root cause of Her plight.She was so angry that she wanted to drink their warm blood.Till then she could not be happy or normal.She insisted her brother to kill them all.

Soorpanakha

All were enjoing themselves in the parnasaala.During that time,Ravanas sister,Soorpanakha came there and saw Rama who was bewtiching to her eyes.He was like Manmadha in his attire with his plaited hair.He was royal even in that attire.She was sexually aroused seeing Rama like that.She questioned him why he was in the attire of a sage.Still he was living with his wife.And again he was carrying bow and arrows.She could not assess him.What did it all mean?That forest was full of demons.Then why did he come there? Rama wanted to tell her the truth.He would not like to tell lies,that too to a woman.Even otherwise,he was living rhe life of a sage.So he replied that he was the eldest son of Dasaradha.His name was Rama.His younger brother,Lakshmana was standing by him.The lady sitting by his side was Seetha,his wife,.They had come to the woods to abide by the words of their father.He enquired about her.He could not understand why she had come there.She was so very beautiful and he did not think she was a demon. Soorpanakha was moonstruck with Ramas goodlooks.She replied that she was kaamaroopini.She could appear in whatever way she wanted.Her name was Soorpanakha.Everyone was afraind of her.She could roam the entire forest all alone.She was Ravans sister.He too would have heard of Ravana.Kumbhakarna was also her brother.He was always sleeping.She has aa elder brother,Vibheeshana who always went in right path.He did not acquire demons traits.Warriors like Khara and dooshana were also her brothers.She said she was besotted by his looks.She would happily become his wife.She pleaded to Rama tobe her husband.Seetha was grotesque.She was not fit to be his wife.She was the correct wife to him.She would kill Lakshmana and Seetha immediately.Then they could happily live in the woods. Rama replied replied her in a smiling way.He was already married.His wife was also living with him.She would not like to bear another opponent in the name of Seetha.Look at ny brother.He is goodlooking,single and a good man.He is the best person to be your husband.She can be happy with him because his wife is not there.Soorpanakha believed his words.She went to Lakshmana. She started harassing him that she was the best that he could have as awife. They can live happily there.Lakshmana also replied smilingly to her.He was a servant to another person.Srevants wife would also be as ervant.So it would be better if she married Rama hims elf.She would then become younger wife of Rama .He would then leave his ugly wife and accept her.She could not understand that they were making fun of her.she then went to Rama again.She was questiong him why he was not even looking at her ,having old wife.So it would be best if she killed and ate Seetha.Then they can live happily.Saying so,she ran towards Seetha to kill her.Then Rama admonished Lakshmana for his pranks with Soorpanakha.They should see that SeETHA DOES NOT COME TO any trouble with Soorpanakha.He directed Lakshmana to make her ugly.Thren Lakshmana brought out his sword and cut her NOSE AND EARS.

Winter in the woods

Winter has set in.One day Rama started to go to Godavari river for bathing ,early in the morning.Seetha was also accompanying him.Lakshmana also followed carrying a bowl.Lakshmana was telling Rama that winter has set in.Rama liked winter.Seasons bring luster to the nature all through the year.Fields are full of greenery.Milch giving animals produce more milk.But human beings bodis would be stiff with cold.Water would be so cool that one can not even touch them.As Sun is in the southern side,Northen sides are colorless like womans face without thilakam.That winter there was severe cold.People were unable to bear the cold in the forest.It is filled with fog.Nothing could be seen clearly.Suns rays are dull.Cold is intense due to western winds. Trees are devoid of flowers and are covered by snow.They are appearing to be sleeping with closed eyes.In such weather,righteous Bharatha ,full of devotion towards Rama,is doing penance ,eating tubers and fruits and lying on the ground.He is away from royal pleasures and happiness. Bharatha,too have gone to Sarayu river ,at this time,for bathing.Bharatha is delicateand was brought up in luxuries.It would be very difficult for to wake up so early in the morning and bathe in colds waters of Sarayu river. Just because Rama is in woods and observing penance,Bharatha is also following it in Ayodhya.He is really great.He has conquered Heaven also by his deeds. Generally people say that children follow their mother.But it is wrong in case of Bharatha.How could a wife and Dasaradha and mother of Bharatha be so cruel and heartless? Rama did not like Lakshmana abusing Kaikeyi.He immediately admonished Lakshmana to stop talking like that.He told him to praise Bharatha ,but not to comment adversely about Kaikeyi.Rama also became dull for a moment.In spite of his will to be strong and consistent regarding their life in the woods,he is worried about Bharathas plight.He is always remembering the words of nectar that were spoken by Bharatha at Chithrakoota parvatham.He is eager as to when he would live happily with Bharatha and Sathrughna again. Talking like this,they went and had bath in Godavari and returned to their abode.

Building aasramam in Panchavati

Rama told Lakshmana that they have reached Panchavati.Lakshmana was an expert in matters regarding forest.So he directed him to look on all sides and find an appropriate place for their abode.It shpuld be congenial to Seetha,Rama and Lakshmana.It should be near to water resources.It should should make a feast to the eyes regarding its beauty.It should have easy access to find Food grains,flowers and grass.Water availability should be ample. Lakshmana replied that it was beyond his capacity to find such a place on his own.If Rama finds such a place ,he should then direct Lakshmana to build an asramam.He would oblige.Even if he stays for hundred years there,He would act according to Ramas directions only.He would not do anything independently.Rama was happy for Lkashmanas reply.So,he himself selected a nice and beautiful place.He held Lakshmanas hands in his own and told him so.This place might be congenial for our living.Trees are in full bloom.Near by tanks are full of scented lotus flowers .River Godavari is flowing near by.Hill full of caves and trees is neither too near nor too far.He is confident that they could live peacefully there with Jatayuvu.So ,Lakshamana could build an aasramam there. Lakshmana collected all the ingrediants like logs,leaved and bamboo sticks and built an aasramam there.It was nice ti look at and strong.Lakshmana went to Godavari for bath and brought lotus flowers,fruits.He did vasthu poojaand saanthi to Asramam.Then he sahpowed it to Rama.Rama was very happy after seeing it.He hugged Lakshmana with love.He praised Lakshmana for building such abeautiful Parnasaala.He was gifting that hug for his fine execution of work.As an younger brother,he was serving him.He was behaving accordingly knowing his tastes and wishes like a father and looking after Rama.So Rama is feeling as if their father was alive. Seetha ,Rama and Lakshmana entered Parnasaala.Rama was living there happily with Seetha and Lakshmana As if Indra was enjoing in Swarga.

Jataayuvu

Rama ,Seetha and Lakshmana reached Panchavati as per the directions of Agasthya mahaa muni.Thre they saw a big eagle.They asked him who he was.He replied that he was a friend of Their father,Dasaradha.They enquired about his dynasty.Jatayuvu started telling about Prajapathulu.Kardamudu was the first prajapathi.Next were Vikreethudu,Seshudu,Samsrayudu.Sthaanudu,Mareechi,Athri,Krathudu,Pulasthyudu,Angeerasudu,Prachethanudu,Pulahudu,Dakshudu,Vivaswathudu,Kaasyapudu.Kaasyapudu has another name,Arishtanemi. Daksha prajaapathi had sixty daughters. Kaasyapudu married eight of them.They were Adithi,Dithi,Danuvu,Kaalika,Thaamra,Krodhavasa,Manu and Anala.He requested them to give him sons and Adithi,Dithi and Kaalika agreed. Dwaadasaadithyulu,Ashtavasuvulu,Yekaadasarudrulu.two aswini devathalu,total of thirty three devathas were born to Adithi.Dithi gave birth to daithyas. In the past,Entire world was belonging to Daithyaas.Hayagreeva was born to Danuvu.Kaalika gave birth to Narakudu, and Kaalakudu.Thaamra had Five daughters.They were Krounchi,Bhaasi,Syeni,Dhrutharashtri and Suki.Krounchi gave birth to Owls.BhAASI gave birth to Bhaasi pakshulu.Syeni gave birth to eagles.Dhrtharaashtri gave birth to swans.,kalahamsalu,chakravaakamulu.Suki gave birth to Natha.Vinutha was the daughter of Natha. Krodhavasa had ten daughters.They were Mrugi,Mrugamanda,Hari,Bhadramada,maathangi,saardooli,swetha,Surabhi,Surasa and Kadruva.Mrugi gave birth to deers.Mruga manda gave birth to bears.,srumaramulu and chamaramulu.Hari gave birth to lions and monkeys. Bhadramada gave birth to a DAUGHTER ,Iraavathi.Son of Iravathi is Iravathamu,devendras Vaahanam/.Maathangi had elephants as offspring.Saardooli gave birth to tigers and kondamuchchulu.Swetha gave birth to diggajamulu. Surabhi had two daughters,Rohini and Gandharvi.Rohini had Cows and Gandharvi had horses as their offspring. Surasa gave birth to naagulu,Naja naja-divya sarpamulu. Kadruva had pannagamulu,ordinary snakes. Manu prajaapathi had men as his children They were brahma,kshathriya,vaisya and soodra clans. Anala gave birth to pious fruit bearing trees. Let us know the story of vINATHA,GRAND DAUGHTER OF SUKI AND Kadruva,sister of Surasa. kADRUVA GAVE BIRTH TO Aadiseshu.Vinatha gave birth to two sons,Garududu and Arunudu.Jataayuvu was born to Arunudu.Jataayuvu had a brother,Sampaathi. He offered to be of help to them if Rama wanted.If they out in to the forest ,he would look after Seetha.That forest was full ofwild animals and demons.Sree Rama hugged Jatayuvu and treated him with respect as he was his fathers friend.He enquired ABout their friendship.All of the reached Panchavati.

Agasthyaasramamu

Oneday Rama asked Sutheeshna that he came to know that Agasthya mahamuni was living in the same forest.He would like to see him.He asked him if he would tell him the way to Agasthyaasramam.Sutheeshna was very happy to answer him.Indeed ,he himself was thinking of suggesting Rama to go and Visit Agasthya mahaamuni.If they went south for four yojanas,they would come across Agasthyamahamunis brothers aasramam.It would be pleasant there.Rama can stay there over night and proceed southwards for another yojana ,he would come across Agasthyaasramam.If they really wanted to see the rishi,they had to start moving then itself.Rama,Seetha and Lakshmana took leave of him and proceeded. They reached the abode of Agasthya mahamunis brother.It was really pleasant.Agasthya was very powerful.He won over deathby his penance.Rama was telling Lakshmana that Agasthya made the southern part of the forest congenial for sages to live.Once upon a time ,there lived two demons named Ilvaludu and Vaathaapi.They were brothers.THey used to kill bRAHMINS AND EAT THEM.They were clever.They used to appear as Brahmins and go to sages .They would say in sanskrit that rites for the dead should be done.Vaathaapi would become a goat.Ilvaludu would kill him and cook it for Brahmins.After the brahmins eat after the rites are completed ,he would call Vaathaapi to come out.Vaathaapi would come out from the bodies of brahmins making the sounds of a goat.Then the would eat the brahmins. One day they called Agasthya muni on similar pretext.Ilvaludu called Vaathaapi to come out.Then Agasthya muni laughed and said that he could digest Vaathaapi.He was dead and he went to hell.Ilvaludu got angry went to kill Agasthyamuni,but he killed the demon with his serious looks and burned him.While talking like ,it was dusk.They observed sandhyavandanam and entered sages abode.They stayed that night there.They took leave of the sage and left for Agasthyaasramam.Even wild animals there were calm.Demons were afraid to come that side.So southern side is called Agasthya dikku.Vindhya mountains were growing to halt the sun rays.On Agasthyas directions ,it stopped growing.He was good man for the good people,So if they meet him,it would do good to them.They can happily complete their term in the forest by staying here.Those who tell lies or incompetent person can not live here.Agasthyas effect is so much.Even devathas come here toserve him.Rishis come here and do penance and go to heaven with new bodies.Rama asked Lakshmana to go and inform them of their arrival.Lakshmana did as was told by his brother.One of the disciples went and informed the sage of the arrival of Rama,Seetha and Lakshmana.Agasthya mahamuni was very happy to hear the news.He said he too was waiting to meet Rama these days.He asked him to allow them fast.Rama,Seetha and Lakshmana entered the abode of Agasthya.Proper places were allocated for Brahma,Agni,Vishnu,indra,soorya and chandra.Besides these,Sreesthaanamu,kubera sthaanamu,dhaathru sthaanamu,vidhaathru sthaanamu,Vaayu sthaanamu,seshasthaanamu,ananthasthaanamu,gaayathree sthaanamu,vasu sthaanamu,varuna sthaanamu,kumaaraswaami sthaanaqmu,dharmasthaanamu were also prepared.Agasthya mahamuni came to meet them and accepted their reverence.Agasthya told Rama that if a sage does not look after his guests,he had to eat his own meet in hell as if he had given wrong judgement.He accepted the greatness of Rama. He showed him vishnu devuni bow,which was made by Viswakarma.Another was brahma datthamu.It was very special.Arrows ,ie akshyabaana thuneeramu was gifted by Devendra.Famous sword was also gifted by Devendra.Agasthya requested to accept all those weapons to kill the demons.SreeRama accepted them. Agasthya praised Seetha.She was tired.She was very delicate.Still due to love for Rama she followed Rama into the woods.All women were not like that.From the start of the universe their behaviour is different.They love their husbands if they are in good position.They leave him if he is in troubles.Their nature is like that.They have the fickle mindedness of lightning,hardness of weaponsand speed of air. Rama was happy that the sage like their behaviour and nature.He revealed his wish that if the sage shoed them convenient place,they too would make asramam and live there. Agasthya mahamuni thought for a minute and told him that in the distance of two yojanas there was a place called Panchavati.It was a convenient place for them.There they could find fruits,tubers,animals ,water facility and the place was congenial for living.Rama could easily complete his term there and go back to Ayodhya and rule it . Rama made his father proud by his behaviour.Agasthya could know what had happened by his powers.It was a good move for them to go to Panchavati.It was abeautiful place.Seetha would happily and live and enjoy there and play.It was neare to theri aasramam.It was not crowded.Rama can protect the sages of that area.He told them to west wards and clim a hillock.From there they could spot Panchavati.There the trees were always blooming.
