Seetha,Rama,Lakshmana enter thapovanam

Seetha,Rama and Lakshmana observed many rivers,tanks,big trees,wild animals,birds while walking through the forest.They reached a lake by evening.Abeautiful song was heard from that lake.But there were no one there.They wondered to who it might be and asked a sage,Dharma bhruthudu. Dharma bhruthdu told Rama that lake was called Panchaapsara.It was eternal.A sage named Maandakarni formed it by his penance.He was doing thapa since ten thousand years and was taking air as food.Indra wanted to destroy his thapa and sent five apsaras.Maandakarni was fascinated by those apsaras and living with them.Big palace was constructed in the lake for them.He became young and energetic by his power of thapa.So ,all the time there were dance adn singing going on.Rama heard that only.Talking like this they came to cluster of aasramas.Many sages were doing penance there.Seetha ,Rama and Lakshmana stayed there for some time.They stayed in one aasram for thirteen months,in another place for one year,in another abode ,for four months,five months in another place.Like this they stayed there for ten years.They were happy during that period.As per Sutheekshnas request,they went to his place also second time and stayed there for some time.

Munidharmamau

Seetha told About munidharma to Rama.She is saying that it was not easy.It was possible only for those who leave materialistic pleasures.They were telling lies,wanting others woman and anger without provocation.Of these three wrongs Rama did not have first two blemishes ,.But he had the third one. He assured the sages to put an end to demons and were well equipped to fight them.She did not want to go Dandakaaranya.Because if they went there,Demons would come across them.Rama was sure to use his weapons to destroy them. Seetha told him a story.In earlier days,there was a sage who was doing penance .He was leading a disciplined life.To avert his attention,Indra came as a soldier and asked him to protect his sword with him.Sage was innocent.He used to carry it wherever he went ,with the fear that he would lose it somewhere.He was so involved in protecting it that he forgot his penance.Naturally and slowly he started using it to kill animals.Later he went to hell.Holding arms is equivalent to holding fire in your hands.It would engulf everything in its vicinity.She wanted to warn Rama regarding bad effects of holding weapons. She was afraid that though the demons dont harm him personally,because of the word he gave to sages ,he would kill them.She was not in favor of such reaction.If any one is in trouble ,it is right to protect him by killing demons.But without any reason or that the demons had killed some sages in the past,it is not right to kill them now.Weapons and forest are completely different.Valor and penance are completely opposite.They had come to the forest to lead a life of sages.Then where does the use of weapons come?They should not think of Showing of valor like kings.They had to lea their life like other sages in the woods.We become wicked by using weapons.We can think of our duties as kings after going back to Ayodhya. Entire world is standing on righteousness.Life gets meaning if we follow righteousness.We get peace and pleasure if we follow the right path.Unless we strive hard and lead disciplined live and perform and practice strictly,we cant acquire righteousness.In woods ,the right thing to follow is the life of sages.So follow that.You know everything ,but I am simply reminding you as I am a lady.You and your brother think for yourselves and do what is apt. Rama admired Seethas diplomacy.Seetha herself told in the past that a king should never hear crying of victims when he is having his armory.When Sages came for help I told them to be relieved of tensions and I would look after their welfare.I can leave you and Lakshmana But I cant leave the word given to Brahmins.Even if they had not asked for my help,it is my duty as a king to protect them. So I cant waver my decision.Apart from it I like your concern towards me.I love you more than myself.Sreerama took Seetha and Lakshmana along with him to thapovanamu.Even sages followed them.

Sutheekshnas abode

Rama gave the sages word that he would protect them.Then they travelled for Sutheekshna mahamunis abode.Sages also went along with SEETHA,RAMA AND LAKSHMANA.Rama went to the sage ,Sutheeshna and paid homage to him.He requested him for his blessings.Sutheeshna hugged him with love and affection.He said he was waiting him.He had heard that Rama came to Chithrakoota.Waiting for his arrival,he postponed his journey to heaven.After Ramas arrival,that aasrama had a naadha to look after them.Indra told that the sage conquerd all the worlds by his penance.He requested Rama to accept them and live in those lokas along with Seetha and Lakshmana.

Rama replied that he can as well conquer those worlds.First of all,he wanted the sage to guide him as to where he should stay.Sutheekshnudu said that Rama can as well stay in their place.They have access to fruits and tubers.They have all facilities but wild animals are more.They cause difficulties to the sages.Rama said he could as well kill them but sages dont like such things.So he would like to choose another place for their living.Rama stayed that night there.Next day he took leave of the sage.They wanted to leave the place before sun rose.Sutheekshna hugged them and bade farewell to them.He told them to see other aasrams in dandakaaranya area and come again to theri place.

RAMA UPLIFTS SAGES

AFTER THE DEMISE OF SARABHANGA MAHAMUNI ALL THE OTHER SAGES CAME TO RAMA IN GROUPS.VAIKHAANASULU,VAALAKHILYULU,SAMPRAKSHAALULU,THOSE TAKE RAYS OF SUN AND MOON AS FOOD,PATHRAAHAARULU(WHO EAT ONLY LEaves),those who stand in water up to their necks,jalaahaarulu(those who take water as their food),vaayubhakshulu(those who take air as their food).,those who can stay in air or in sky,like this so many types of sages came to rama.
They all told Rama like this.he was the father of this entire universe.he was arighteous person.his respect towards his father,his fame and his righteousness are famous in the entire three lokas.king has to look after his people.IF A KING TAKES ONE SIXTH OF THE INCOME OF HIS PEOPLE AS TAXES AND STILL DOES NOT LOOK AFTER THEIR WELFARE,
HE IS IN THE WRONG.
A KING WHO PROTECTS HIS PEOPLE WILL GET FAME IN THIS WORLD AND ALSO GO TO UTTAMA LOKAS AFTER HIS DEMISE.KING HAS TO PROTECT SAGES OF HIS AREA ALSO EVEN THOUGH THEY DONT PAY TAXES.ONE FOURTH OF DHARMAPHALAM EARNED BY SAGES GOES TO THEIR KING.

THOUGH HE WAS THEIR PROTECTOR,THOSE SAGES WERE LIVING LIKE DESTITUTES.THEY ARE BEING MASSACRED BY DEMONS .THE DEAD BODIES OF SAGES ARE THERE FOR HIM TO SEE.Not only there,but ALSO NEAR PAMPAA LAKE,ON THE BANKS OF MANDAAKINEE RIVER,IN CHITHRAKOOTA HILLS,and IN MANY OTHER PLACES IT WAS THE MOST COMMON SIGHT.THEY WERE UNABLE TO BEAR THE ATROCITIES OF THE DEMONS.They were asking for his mercy.they have no where to go except him.they were pleading him for their protection.

Rama replied that had to demand him but not request.he would definitely clear their problems.though he came on his fathers words,he would definitely do justice to them and their problems.this trip to the woods has become more fruitful as he was bound to clear their difficulties.He and his brother,Lakshmana would kill the demons and they can rest assured.

SARABHANGAASRAMAMU

Rama,Seetha and Lakshmana travelled and neared Sarabhangasramamu.Rama saw Devendra going to Sarabhanga mahaamuni and talk to him .Rama told Lakshmana that Indra seems to have come with devathas to this asramam.He told Seetha and Lakshmana to stay back and that he would go and asses the situation there.Indra observed Rama coming to the asram.He told the muni secretely that he should not talk to Rama before.He would come again after the operation is completed and then he would talk to Rama.He left with aides to heaven.Rama enetered teh asramam along with Seetha and Lakshmana.They accepted munis welcome whole heartedly.

Rama enquired if the person who talked to him earlier was Indra.

Sarabhanga muni answered in positive.Indra came to take The sage to brahmaloka along with him.But the sage did not want to go to heaven when an important guest like Rama was coming to his asramam.He wanted to go to brahmaloka after receiving Rama properly.With his thapa Sarabhanga muni could axchieve brahmaloka,heavenand other pious places.He wanted to deliver that punya to Rama now.

Rama answered that he was capable of earning all those things by himself.He wanted the sage to guide them properly as to where they had to stay for living.

Sarabhanga muni told Rama that if they went to Sutheekshuni aasramam which was near by,they would direct them aptly some convenient place.They had to walk along the banks of the river to go to that aasramam.He requested them not to leave that place place immediately.He would leave his body soon.They had to go after that incident .

Sarabhanga muni lighted flames nad enetered it.Rama,Seetha and Lakshmana were awed to see that act.Sages body was burnt out.From flames arose Young and energetic sage and he went to Brahmalokam easily.
